2022 QS World University Rankings | Top 100 Global Universities

The QS World University Ranking for the year 2022 was released on June 8th. The ranking include more than 1300 universities from around the world, making this year's ranking the largest QS World University Rankings ever published.
Universities are evaluated according to the following six metrics:
Academic Reputation (40%)
Employer Reputation (10%)
Faculty/Student Ratio (20%)
Citations per faculty (20%)
International Faculty Ratio (5%)
International Student Ratio (5%)
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has been crowned as the best university in the world for the 10th consecutive year. It is worth noting that 44 of the universities in the top 100 are either from the US(26) or the UK(18) and 9 of the 10 universities in the top 10 are either from the US or the UK.
Although there are no new entrants in the top 10, but Peking University has climbed to feature in the top 20 for the first time ever at number 18 while Tsinghua leads as the best university in China and 17th in the world.
Other entries from China (excluding HK, Taiwan, and Macao) are:
Fudan University at number 31.
Zhejiang University at number 45.
Shanghai Jiaotong University at number 50.
University of Science and Technology of China at number 98.
